We live in the city. We’ve been watching Barangaroo develop. It’s extravagant. It’s fantastic. An empty space is created into a thriving environment. It sparkles. The sun comes in and it sparkles.

When there is a good rain of a night time in the morning. That’s when it sparkles. We don’t celebrate development. Because it’s different. That development is the extravagance of this place though.

Maybe it’s water and clear skies. That’s the natural extravagance but it’s met with the urban development. There’s change and we don’t celebrate that. That change is so essential to Sydney.

The smell of rain interacting dust. Jasmine. Particularly in the city you can the smell of jasmine all through the city. We have that on the balcony. Fresh. Sydney cleans up well.
