The concept is the difference between Sydney and the Central Coast and the idea of decentralising art and getting rid of disparity.
The Central Coast is the scent of industry, hospitality and childcare (woodwork and cement). It gets more colourful, diverse and vibrant as one comes into the city with its different social demographics.
The scent will make people more aware, to try to inspire people to branch out into creative pursuits. Investing in trying to seek opportunities outside of our normal centres of creativity.
The scent goes from sweet to bitter. It starts with standard timber and tiny bit of sulphur, then moves into diverse and vibrant fruits (orange, strawberry – just a really good fruit punch). Finishes with (inspirational) florals which recall Sydney’s Botanical Gardens.
