When I came to Australia, a very long time ago, someone drove me from Sydney to Canberra. We stopped somewhere in the middle, to visit a zoo or a park. It was the first time I had seen kangaroos. I remember a strong, very fresh smell like eucalypts and freshly cut grass. I always try to find that particular smell again, but it has never happened. It smelled like freedom. I felt light, like I could fly.
SCENT
