NICE PRISON DURING NYE

Four friends and I woke up at 5am on New Years Eve to secure the best spot to watch the fireworks. We sat near the Opera Bar so we had the perfect view for the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. To survive the day we all had three bags with us filled with food, clothes, towels (to lay down and mark our territory).

By about 1pm it was totally full. At 9pm people tried to push in front of us but we are all ‘Dutchies’ and Dutch people are very straight forward, so we told them ‘no’. We all shared food and drinks. It was like being in a prison all day, but a nice prison.

SCENT
