PRIVILEGED

I moved to Sydney in 1991. I live in Manly. I commute each day on the ferry. It makes me feel lucky. It’s not always smooth and sunny. Storms roll in, it can be cloudy and rough. But I still feel lucky.

Better there than on a car or a bus. That’s something that’s special about Sydney for me.

SCENT

salt air, the Norfolk pines, sea water a bit of diesel from the engine and whiff from the toilets (cleaning product). Plus the smell of lucky if you can imagine what that is.
