UNTITLED

I have an image of the world of lots of people squished together in a small space. Sweat eases friction between people standing shoulder to shoulder. Sweat is sweet not pungent. There is also a cerebral smell, it’s like light pulse, fast moving like a shot. I have an image of the scent tumbling down the Two Valley Trail to Wolli Creek like a mist.

SCENT

The scent of electricity in the air is first, sweat is the middle note followed by a heavy, thick sweetness like honey or molasses; a syrup. It finishes with something fresher like a wind going through the trees in that valley, basically Sydney remnant bush.
