When you get near the beach you can smell the salt and that. You can smell the sunscreen and you can smell the cars. When you’re on the shop road you can smell all the businesses: turkish food, the Coogee Bay Hotel…
I go to Coogee public which has a bunch of smells. The boys toilets smell like poo and the classrooms smell like air conditioning (it’s like the smell of air but strong, I find) When you go into the library there’s air conditioning but it is sort of warm and cosy.
My room smells like fresh sea salty air.
SCENT
suncream, salty water, pub food, air conditioning, the beach.
