I’ve had one or two experiences on a small boat on the harbour. It was a small beat up sail boat and another was a luxurious Italian speed boat. The harbour has a shocking beauty. There are hidden alcoves, but they’re known by people in the know. They’re a secret for locals.
I suppose the experience was sort of anti resistance… being on a sail boat. You have to ride it to make it work.
Salty sea water, the concrete of the city – it’s processed not dirty. A little bit there’s diesel. Damp wood from the boat. A little musty maybe seaweed.
