BRONTE SURPRISE

I’m thinking of a time I went to Bronte Beach. I discovered, well it was the first time I saw it, a gully filled with a rainforest. It had recently rained. It was so unexpected in a beach in Sydney. I think of beaches as sand and concrete whereas this was beautiful and soft.

Plus the buses. The buses are really frequent. It’s the end of the line. If you have a coffee then the buses blow out their diesel exhaust and you have to deal with that.

SCENT

The saltwater, the rain, diesel from the buses and the smell of chips frying at the surf club.
